About Me

I am a full time contemporary artist and postgraduate researcher whose practice investigates mark-making, embodiment, and performance as methods of inquiry, challenging traditional art forms through the body as a site of exploration.

I write poetry , make film/audio collages, multi-layered paintings and abstract drawings , structured installations , photography and documented performances to think through subjectivity. I often consider themes of wellbeing within creative practice, pain and constraint are themes which arise in my practice which challenge vulnerability and limits of selfhood.

Grounded in performative research, my methodology integrates auto-ethnography, auto-theory, and automatism with autobiographical elements, prioritizing process over outcome.

I hold an MA in Contemporary Fine Art and am currently in the second year of my PhD. My experience includes studio teaching, collaborative creative projects, essay writing and curatorial roles within exhibition contexts. I aim to expand on my current experience by attending conferences and residencies.
